See Spot Walk - 2008

See Spot Walk 2008 - A Huge Success!

The 16th annual See Spot Walk on Saturday, October 4, 2008, at Julia Davis Park in Boise was a big, barking success, raising over $75,000 to help care for the 15,000 animals the IHS helps every year. The streets were wall-to-wall dogs and people when Idaho's largest dog walk - more than 3000+ dogs and their people - paraded through downtown Boise. Mayor Dave Bieter again proclaimed the first Saturday in October as Boise's official See Spot Walk Day.

Despite the predictions of rain, rain, rain, the clouds parted, the sun peeked through and all participants and onlookers had a pawsitively great time! The help and support of our community, the IHS staff, great volunteers and wonderful sponsors make See Spot Walk the best event every year - and this year topped them all! See Spot Walk 2009 will be held at Julia Davis Park on Saturday October 2nd. We'll see you there!
