See Spot Walk - 2007

See Spot Walk 2007 - A Huge Success!

The 15th annual See Spot Walk event on Saturday, October 6, 2007, at Julia Davis Park in Boise was a big, barking success, raising over $75,000 to help care for the 15,000 animals the IHS helps every year. The streets were wall-to-wall dogs and people when Idaho's largest dog walk - more than 3000+ dogs and their people - paraded through downtown Boise. Mayor Dave Bieter proclaimed the first Saturday in October as Boise's official See Spot Walk Day.

Each year entries in our one-mile fun walk continue to grow by leaps and bounds! Again this year, dogs and their people paraded through the center of downtown Boise with a theme of "Downtown is Going to the Dogs". All participants and onlookers had a pawsitively great time! The help and support of the IHS' staff, great volunteers and wonderful sponsors make See Spot Walk the best event every year and this year topped them all! Stay tuned to this website for more photos and information as next year's big walk gets closer! See Spot Walk 2008 will be held at Julia Davis Park on Saturday October 4th next year. We'll see you there!
