![]() We love our IHS Volunteers! Volunteers are an indispensable part of the IHS community. The Idaho Humane Society relies on volunteers to staff mobile adoption units, assist with fundraising events, walk and care for animals at the shelter, foster animals, produce content for our website and help with the day-to-day services offered to the community. The Idaho Humane Society is also governed by an all volunteer board of directors. There is a wide variety of opportunities for volunteers at the shelter. Click here for more information. Foster Parents provide in home care for shelter animals. Each year IHS foster parents save the lives of thousands of animals. You can become an IHS foster parent too. Click here for more information.
