 Shelter Spring & Summer Hours: (May 1 - September 1): Monday - Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sundays 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. *For after hours animal control emergencies contact police dispatch at (208) 377-6790. Veterinary Medical Center Hours : Daily 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. *We are closed for Lunch from 1:00 to 2:00 p. m. The Medical Center is not staffed for after hours emergencies, click here for a list of local emergency veterinary hospitals. Holidays Closed: New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Location: Directions: From I-84 take the Orchard exit. Go south on Orchard for 1 mile until you see the sign for the Idaho Humane Society at the corner of Dorman Street. Turn left on Dorman and continue for 250 yards. The Idaho Humane Society shelter will be on your right. Go inside, meet the friendly staff and adopt a pet!
