Mission & History
Pets provide unconditional love and companionship and choosing the right pet will reward you and your family with many years of enjoyment. Care of any pet requires commitment and pet ownership is not a decision that should be taken lightly. Owning a pet means taking on the responsibility to care for the pet throughout its life.
 
The Idaho Humane Society believes that the companionship of a pet adds to the quality of life for both young and old, we have a special program to facilitate adoption of pets by senior citizens.
 
Promoting humane and responsible pet care is an important component of every activity of the Idaho Humane Society, we invite you to learn how you, too, can support our mission.
